Miracle Kit means Happy Mother's Day

I posted yesterday the CTMH National Scrapbooking Month promotion-Miracle. Today I want to show you that after you create the beautiful layouts they offer there are still more goodies to enjoy. So I pulled out my WISHES (9033) book and made the "Gallery" card out of my scraps. I added the card sentiment using "A Little Everything (March-SOTM D1408), White Daisy Variety Pack (z1300), Sweet Leaf button (Z1284), Colonial White Waxy Flax (Z1081). Inks: Chocolate (z2111), Twilight (z2160), and Sweet Leaf (Z2153). I added Create-a-Shade Pearl Paint (z1039) to the flower to give it a little pearly finish, an extra special something just for my mom.

National Scrapbook Month Special-Miricle Kit

I love the new Miracle Kit being offered by CTMH for National Scrapbook Month. I would recommend this kit for someone who was new to scrapbooking because it comes with everything you need to create a fabulous layout. The only thing I added to the layout that didn't come in the kit was the ink for the chipboard and I used the Hodge Podge Color-Ready Alphabet (x1406) to make the word "Easter." Included is also an easy to follow color brochure which tells you everything, from how to cut the paper to where to place it at. I love how I could use the chipboard to bring out the colors in the pictures and the Flip Flaps to add additional pictures to my layouts. Don't miss out on this great deal. https://tamra.myctmh.com

Blog Candy

Here's a little blog candy for those of you who are new to my blog. Anyone who becomes a follower will be entered in a drawing for Close to My Heart's Liquid Glass (z679). You can earn additional entries by Signing Up for my newsletter. And another entry for referring someone to my blog (your friend must put you name down in the "Referred by Field" in order for you to get an entry. Drawing for the winner will be May 1st so stay tuned to see who is the winner!

Liquid Glass is on the top of my list or products to own by Close To My Heart. I know your thinking that it isn't much to ask for, but I tell you, this stuff has so many uses:
-Permanent Adhesive
-Adding a little sparkle with glitter
-It dries with a glass look so you can add it to make rain drops
-A "little dab will do ya" so it last a really long time
-I actually use it instead of super glue to fix plastic toys around our house

So even if you don't win the contest I don't see how you can live without owning a bottle of Liquid Glass.

Maybe Glitzy is Better

I only thought I was adding more than the ordinary when adding all the pizzaz on the layout I shared with you last time. But today, I received my box of goodies to start preparing for my Summer Idea Book Open House and inside was the new Glitz "Stardust" (z1313-available May 1). I love it! To show how great it is I took my Parade layout and added it to my already stamped title "SpectroMagic" and it makes it POP! Glitz has a small nozzle top you can place the glitter only where you want it, without all the mess of shakeable glitter. My scrap room is still covered in glitter from the other parts of this layout. Please compare the before and after and tell me what you think.

Parades with Extra Magic

It's not too often that I get to add a little pizazza to my layouts. Having boys, I have to stay away from glitter, pink, flowery...you know girlie things. So whenever I have a chance to girl it up I go all out. In this layout I added prisma glitter to the liquid glass dots to play up all the amazing lights we saw while attending the SpectroMagic Parade at the Magic Kingdom. All products are CTMH unless otherwise noted:
Crystal Blue cardstock (1292), Key Lime cardstock (1235), Black cardstock (1386), Jingle level 2 (x7115B), Winter Cheer glitter rub-ons (z1222), Twinkle Brads Jolly Assort. (z1220), Giggle Caps (D1136), Key Lime ink (z2131), Crystal Blue marker (z2317), Prisma Glitter (z134), Crystalescetn Glitter-Blue, Liquid Glass (z679), Supporting Cast-Imagine (9030)

Why Croppin on Cloud 9?

Well, I've decided to start a blog. I felt like the most important thing about the blog was the name. I wanted it to communicate how I felt about my business, and after a lot of brain storming one of my good friends came up of the name Croppin on Cloud 9. It was perfect! The name brought me back to when I first was introduced to Close To My Heart. That day I was so excited to finally be able to scrapbook all of my family's memories and it look beautiful when I was finished.

You see, I am far from crafty or creative but with Close to My Heart's philosophy of Faster, Simpler, Easier I was able to create something I was proud of just by following the instructions they laid out.

So I truly am on Cloud 9 every time I get scrapbook. I get to archive the memories I have made with my family. I get to laugh with all of my friends and look at their memories as the scrapbook with me. Being a stay at home mom I have very little time that isn't spent with my young ones and scrapbooking gives me the opportunity to have a little mommy time. All of these things leave me feeling rejuvenated. I hope you enjoy my blog and that it will inspire you to take a little mommy time and leave you feeling like you're on Cloud 9.
