Merry Christmas

I wanted to tell everyone Merry Christmas and hope that ya'll reflect on the gift that was given many years ago in the form of a baby. Jesus allows me to be "joyful" regardless of my circumstances and that is what I want to focus on not only today but everyday!

The Card Giver

I have to admit that I am not very good at sending cards. In fact I am not even mailing out Christmas cards this year. There is something about the over all execution of addressing and putting cards in the mailbox that becomes too difficult for me. However, my grandmother is wonderful about sending cards. I get one for every holiday, birthday, and even just for encouragement sometimes. There is something special about receiving a card in the mail (a bit of sunshine amid the piles of bills). So for Christmas I decided to make cards for her to send out to all her loved ones. I used the Close to My Heart Wishes book which gives me tons of card layouts to make the most of my paper. I chose to use Close to My Heart Magic Moments paper kit (hollyhock, sweet leaf, cocoa, & indian corn blue inks) along with various My Acrylix stamps. November Blog Contest
